If you’ve ever tried to get your grandparents or great aunt or sweet elderly neighbor to tell you their story and they’ve resisted, it may be a generational gap. In the age of technology, we are so used to being able to express our thoughts at a keyboard, on the phone or video. But many older adults were often raised to not talk about themselves, which can make it hard to get them to open up.

Knowing our history, our family’s story and our family members’ stories is such an important part of creating memories that last a lifetime. In this video, I’ll share my simple strategies for getting those amazing, life changing stories – before it’s too late.
