For the 2019 holiday season Peloton, the tech/exercise unicorn, released a commercial that went viral for all the wrong reasons.

I can just imagine the chaos at the ad agency as the feedback (ridicule) started coming (flooding) in and they scrambled to figure out how the stationary bike ad got so off track (pun intended).

Of course, for anyone who read Stories that Stick, the answer is obvious. What Peloton needed was not an ad, they needed a Customer Story.
