I’m not sure I’ve ever met someone who wasn’t at least a little nervous about public speaking – me included!

And I chose a profession where I speak to large audiences for a living! At times, I’ve felt that those butterflies in my stomach felt more like tiny flying dinosaurs than dainty creatures.

To conquer those jitters, I put together a plan.

Now, of course, you can guess that one of the steps is to tell a story. And it’s an important step because a story not only gains your audience’s attention, it will get them to respond and engage. When your audience is engaged, you will become more comfortable delivering the rest of your speech.What else can you do to become more comfortable presenting to a group?
