Using Storytelling in Meetings
We all know that storytelling is an effective way to make a point and to get your audience to remember that point. Unfortunately, using storytelling can often feel like a time consuming process; crafting, editing and then the actual telling of the story can be a lengthy progression. But what if your audience is pressed for time? How can you get that story in and make your point?
Business meetings are almost always short on time because we are usually trying to cram in as much information as possible into the shortest amount of time so that everyone can get back to work! So how can you tell a story in a meeting without using up all of the meeting time and or irritating all of your coworkers? In this video, I’ll share my three steps to crafting your story so that your meeting stays well-organized and your audience remembers your message.
