Don't Cut the Business Story Details

You've probably heard the phrase, "The devil is in the details..." Meaning, if something is going to go wrong, it's likely in the fine print; something you might otherwise overlook.

And when it comes to a business story, details are the indeed where things can go wrong... but not necessarily in the way you'd think. The details themselves aren’t the problem… editing them out is the enemy. In a world that is constantly rushing and convinced that it has no time, the details often are the first thing to hit the cutting room floor leaving your stories empty. When it comes to storytelling, the fine details are critical to engaging your intended audience. Leaving them out? That’s the devil’s work.
