Some of the very best stories are the ones that are the most difficult to tell. Nevertheless, for the sake of your audience and your message, it’s essential that you make it to the end.

Even when you’ve fully prepared yourself, though, your powerful story can bring on an unexpected wave of emotion. So, what do you do when that story suddenly makes you cry?

Let me share with you my personal experience with emotional stories as well as the steps I take to recenter myself when I start to feel the tears coming on. With practice and these simple strategies, you’ll make it to the end of your story every time.
