But what about in everyday life?

In this video, I’ll talk with you about how I use storytelling in my daily life for just about everything. I view it as a little bit of a "storytelling game"; can I get what I want by telling a story? If I share a piece of my life, will the person I’m talking to respond? The answer is almost always a yes!

Why does it work? I think it’s similar to why it works in the corporate world. When you share a story with someone, they begin to see you as a person, not just another face in the crowd. Suddenly they can see into a small part of your life and they can relate to you.

So, how do you make your stories work for you? Let me share my ideas with you.
